Founder spoke about the moment of disgust that transformed her when a wrongly directed Google Map took her through Asia’s largest garbage landfill in Ghazipur, New Delhi. The sight of millions of eagles in the vicinity, a near by meat market and unbearable stink made her feel disgusted about being a citizen of the city. Weeks and months passed and she couldn’t forget the sight. Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s writings on 7 Habits of highly effective people: Circle of Influence and Circle of Control resonated with her. She started with her Circle of control and SustainX began.
Plan is to build a community of people who wish to transition to earth friendly sustainable lifestyle. We wish to go earth friendly but don’t know how and what options are available. SustainX addresses this problem.
Vision is to make SustainX one stop shop for finding Sustainable options while taking everyday decisions. From Kitchen to Bathroom, from Maggie to building my home, from buying an LCD to travel sustainably, sustainable fashion all available options are listed on SustainX.
As of 2021, we are working on projects where we are using Technology and Design Thinking from IT and Design world in providing innovative solutions in household waste management, thoughtful landscaping, garden setup and community plantation. We are associated with RWAs and city authority in improving the green cover.
